The BMW i5 M60 xDrive is the most powerful and most athletic version of the BMW i5. It has been designed for an especially dynamic performance. It accelerates to 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds. It also has M Sport brakes and Adaptive suspension Professional. In terms of appearance, dynamics, power and athletic character are underpinned in many details such as the M kidney grille, the M exterior mirrors or the exclusive M wheels.
The BMW i5 M60 xDrive has an output of 442 kW (601 hp) and achieves a top speed of 230 km/h. On the way to this target, it accelerates to 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds. The model is 5060 mm long, 1505 mm high and 1900 mm wide.
Fully charged, the BMW i5 M60 xDrive has a range of up to 516 km (WLTP). As is the case with combustion engines, this range does of course depend on many external factors and above all the driving style.
In an electric vehicle, the full range of performance and torque are available instantly. Pressing the accelerator is all that is needed for the vehicle to accelerated up to its top speed without any interruption due to gear shifts. A fast-charging station using direct current (DC) is able to charge the vehicle with a maximum of 205 kW. With this option, it is possible to raise the available battery capacity from 10 to 80% in only 30 minutes. At a charging point such as a Wallbox with 11 kW alternating current (AC), the charging time is 8.25 hours. With 22 kW the charging process is halved to 4.25 hours.
