  1. Introduction
  2. By consenting to BMW Remote Diagnosis, you authorise Performance Motors Limited (“PML”), Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (“BMW AG”) and their affiliates and service providers, to access and diagnose your BMW vehicle remotely. This service aims to identify potential issues with, and provide guidance on necessary repairs or maintenance of, your BMW vehicle either without requiring, or in advance of, a physical visit to an authorised BMW service centre.

  3. Scope of BMW Remote Diagnosis
  4. BMW Remote Diagnosis allows certified BMW technicians to, among others:

    • Retrieve vehicle diagnostic data remotely;
    • Identify potential faults and/or service requirements;
    • Provide preliminary recommendations for repairs or maintenance;
    • Determine if a service centre visit is necessary.

    This service only applies after you have made a service appointment with your Preferred BMW Service Partner or contacted PML Concierge, and have given your consent.

    This service does not replace physical inspections. Final assessments may require additional diagnosis at an authorised BMW service centre.

  5. Customer Consent
  6. By opting in to BMW Remote Diagnosis, you agree and provide your permission and consent:

    • To allow PML’s technicians to access your vehicle’s diagnostic system remotely after you have made a service appointment with PML;
    • For data transmission from your vehicle to BMW AG’s servers and retrieval by PML;
    • To receive communication by any means regarding diagnostic results and service recommendations.

    You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting PML at 1800-2255-269 or through PML’s digital platforms where applicable.

  7. Data Collection and Privacy
  8. The remote diagnosis process involves the collection of technical vehicle data, which may include, among others:

    • Error codes and fault reports;
    • Sensor data related to environmental conditions and/or vehicle performance;
    • Information regarding battery, engine and other vehicle components;
    • Information relating to the servicing of the vehicle.

    The remote diagnosis process may also involve the activation of certain tests and service functions, and resetting control units, which are only commenced upon confirmation by the driver of the vehicle.

    In the event that personal data is collected, such personal data will be collected, used and processed in accordance with PML’s Privacy Policy (https://www.pml-bmw.com.sg/site/privacy-policy/) and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

  9. Service Limitations
  10. BMW Remote Diagnosis is subject to the following limitations:

    • Remote diagnosis does not cover physical repairs or maintenance;
    • Service availability may depend on vehicle connectivity and technical compatibility;
    • Any remote diagnosis and/or findings are not comprehensive and/or conclusive and shall be subject to verification and further evaluation physically at PML’s service centre.
  11. Liability and Warranty
  12. While BMW Remote Diagnosis aims to provide accurate assessments, it does not guarantee the accuracy of such.

    PML and BMW AG, including their affiliates and service providers, shall not be liable for any claim, liabilities, costs, expenses, losses and/or damages arising out of or in connection with:

    • The carrying out of remote diagnosis on your vehicle;
    • Any delays, errors or failures in diagnosis; and/or
    • Failures in vehicle systems which require physical diagnosis.

    Any repairs conducted following a remote diagnosis are subject to BMW’s standard warranty policies.

  13. Amendments & Termination
  14. PML reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time by updating the same on PML’s website. By continuing to use BMW Remote Diagnosis, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms & Conditions. PML may also terminate or suspend BMW Remote Diagnosis at any time at its sole discretion.

    By proceeding with BMW Remote Diagnosis, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

All terms under BMW Remote Diagnosis apply, in addition to the following:


  1. Additional Eligibility Requirements
    To be eligible for Remote Diagnosis Plus+, the vehicle owner must have immediate access to their vehicle at the time of contacting PML Concierge to request the service.

  2. Customer Responsibilities During Diagnosis
    During the Remote Diagnosis Plus+ process:
    • Vehicle owners may be required to relocate their vehicle to an alternative location as instructed by BMW Technical Specialists;
    • Compliance with such instructions is necessary to ensure the successful completion of the diagnostic procedure.
  3. Service Availability
    Remote Diagnosis Plus+ is available only during designated operating hours as determined by PML.
    • Access outside these hours is strictly unavailable;
    • PML reserves the right to modify, extend, or reduce operating hours at any time without prior notice;
    • Customers are responsible for verifying current operating hours prior to requesting the service.
    PML shall not be held liable for any delays, disruptions, or inability to access the service.
